In the latest of our series of deep dives into The Last Jedi novelization, we find out just how many more things went wrong or nearly went wrong in the process of Rose, Finn, and DJ trying to disable the hyperspace tracker. This is also where a scene was cut from the movie - the one in which actor Tom Hardy appears as a First Order Stormtrooper, and proceeds to whack John Boyega in the rear. Punch it!
