In its third weekend, Solo: A Star Wars Story has been knocked out of the top spot in the box office by Ocean's 8, which turned out to have a better opening total than any of its own predecessors. The hand wringing about why Solo underperformed compared to expectations continues, and I'm addressing a new proposition - the idea that no one wants prequel films with a "young-so-and-so" character played by a new actor. Punch it!
