What's so special about Batuu, anyway? Well, because of its location and because of certain events in recent-ish galactic history, the region around Batuu is of significant strategic importance to both the Resistance and the First Order. Today, I'm exploring a few of the reasons why, flagging a couple more planets that have similar value, and discussing one theory about The Rise of Skywalker's events that I haven't seen discussed elsewhere yet...
